Every year we host a series of events ranging from small drama groups to huge bands competing. The majority of the festival is made up of the music and drama competitions. Outstanding performers are recognised throughout and are handpicked to perform at the closing of the festival: The Boyes Gala Concert where some receive various awards and bursaries. Mid-festival, a friendly jazz lunch is hosted (usually with a rafle) then further along in the year, we have our National Choir Day which welcomes incredible choirs from across the country.
