This competition for choirs takes place at the Spa Pavilion Theatre in Whitby in early April each year. There are separate classes for each type of choir -Ladies, Male Voice, Mixed Voice and for smaller choirs. We also offer competitive classes in Sacred Music, Songs from the Shows and the slightly unusual ‘Christmas in April’! The latter gives choirs a chance to reprieve their Christmas repertoire with a carol and a Christmas song. The day ends with the Recital class when choirs can really show what they can do with a 15 minutes programme of their best/favourite pieces. There is a £100 prize for the winner of this class.
